Rear single storey addition, and finished
basement.
This project is a single storey
back addition with finished basement, onto the back of an existing 2 storey
house
with existing stone foundations. Some
underpinning was required for dealing with the different height levels
joining the existing basement with
the new higher ceiling basement and the existing rear stone foundation wall.
Client works for a very large
construction firm.

A back yard view during construction,
in the wintertime, looking at the new back addition with the existing house
in behind. This portion of the new
addition had a door and window changed by the client during construction.
The door in this picture is not
located where it is on the drawings, it was under the roof that has already
been
built. A new back deck here and
exterior stairs to the back yard is meant to follow as per the drawings.
