A single storey
addition, and a full exterior façade redesign/rebuild.
Two new large bedrooms were created
by renovating, and adding onto the existing ones at the west end of the house
next to the matching exterior of a two car garage.
A change of the roof line of the
existing structure was requested (new roof and structure at a steeper slope).
There was removal of all the
existing exterior yellow brick veneer, and replacement with a new stone veneer
(see pictures below and the drawings).
As well all new windows in new and
modified sized openings in the existing exterior walls.
House in turn required interior
renovation throughout and new framing around all new and modified exterior
doors and windows.
This project required Building
Permit Approval and was obtained after a few revisions and clarifications
requested by the city.
